So if I am being really honest The Legends of the Lost has been out of active development since the end of December of last year. As I have spent most of that time drawing up design documents and prototypes for my next project, which I think I may have finally settled on a idea that I like. Because of this my motivation to work on The Legends of the Lost hasn’t been as high as it normally has been, I am still dedicated to getting the game out by the end of the year as I am just about to enter the final stages of development which include debugging the game and just tweaking a few things here and there. Some of the changes I am really excited to share is the new lighting system which I am really happy with how it is looking and a reworked tutorial as I believed as well as many other that the original tutorial was too complicated to understand. I have also decided to cut back on the games scale as I felt it was too ambitious for me to get it out in a completed state. On the bright side I have decided that the game will also be released as a free download on both here and Itch.io.
