So 1.4 Alpha released a couple days ago which added the trial of sun dungeon (You can find more about that here: https://gamejolt.com/games/legendsofthelost/225818/devlog/the-legends-of-the-lost-1-4-alpha-7taqkkv6 ) So since then I have mainly been trying to patch a lot of issues with that update such as the many bugs that came with that version of the game another thing that I want to take my time in doing over the next few weeks is to try and tweak the game in a few ways to try and enhance and streamline the experience. Yesterdays 1.4.1 patch was a step in the right direction towards this goal such as it having the UI telling you what item you where hovering over and if it can be used to craft with the item in your hand or not. (more about this update can be found here: https://gamejolt.com/games/legendsofthelost/225818/devlog/the-legends-of-the-lost-1-4-1-alpha-now-available-dnenyhpn ) Also today I plan on releasing an update that will visually show you what Inventory slot is currently selected as well as other changes such as tips signs scattered across the game. As seen below:
Other then adding in all those quality of life tweaks I have been working on adding more content to the game such as this new desert map that I just began working on:
However I don’t think I will release this in a 1.5 Alpha version of the game as I kind of want to slowly go back into a closed development so I can fully focus on finishing the game. But I still definitely want to keep on adding more content to be playable for everyone as I continue to develop The Legends of the Lost. So what I have decided is to slowly release small new content updates akin to the 1.3.2 update ( https://gamejolt.com/games/legendsofthelost/225818/devlog/the-legends-of-the-lost-1-3-2-alpha-now-available-to-download-ducks-trial-of-the-spear-sezzi4nr )
So to recap
1.4 just came out this week give that a try
I want to spend some time giving the game some slight tweaks that will make the game more accessible
1.4.2 is coming probably later today which has a few changes to streamline the user experience
I’ve been working on new content but I am not planning on a 1.5 Alpha release
Small content updates coming in the future
Thanks everyone :)
