Recently I have been figuring away on how to make the game bump up in difficulty as people spend more time in the world of The Legends of the Lost. After some thinking I decided to implement multiple different variants of enemies which can be seen once clearing a certain number of dungeons.
These variants can be different from there original versions in many different ways such as buffs in there stats, different drops or completely new additions to the game play. For example the purple variant of spiders have a higher attack and health from regular spiders, Golden Ore Dudes are much harder to kill and drop rarer drops and as you can see in this GIF the double variant of Jellys can split in to two normal Jellys once killed!
Unfortunately because these variants are locked between completing a number of dungeons and I am no where near close to finishing anymore dungeons the update that releases these variants may be a while away, however I may make them available to fight in the Gladiator Mode in the future, depending on if I get time soon to make a few gameplay adjustments to the gladiator mode.
But speaking of content releases, the sword I use in the GIF above will be released in a new update by the end of this month.
