The Light Within Development Status Updates

I plan to stop development of The Light Within and begin work on a few other projects. however i do plan to come back to the project at a later date after i have learned more about game development and the C# language. I'm making the game download public so you no longer need to have a beta access key to play the game. if you're a game developer and are interested in adding to the project and having your name in the credits and about section please contact me on discord and we can figure something out: Adsnipers#6231

So this will probably be my last Devlog for a little while but dont worry, as i said the project wont be dead forever and i plan to come back some day and make everything better as well as finish the game.

the reason why I'm doing this is mainly because of the amount of problems I'm experiencing at this point of game development as i knew pretty much nothing when i started work on the game. especially with the Janky controls which i have now learned a better way of doing so that's one thing that will definitely be getting fixed.

I'm in the process of building V0.1.2 of The Light Within. hopefully this will be the last build before public release. really the only important things that need to be done are adding more levels and finishing the story.

spent my night putting together the start of a proof of concept for a Low Poly Open World Exploration. this is kinda my dream game and thats the reason why im making it. but its a big project and im not too experienced so i guess we'll see what happens

I've been working on this one for almost a week now. its a puzzle-platformer but there is no light but a glow coming from the player and you have to find your way through levels and find out where all the light in the world went. https://gamejolt.com/games/the-light-within/472423
