The Mac is Bac!

Editor’s note: You’re fired.

Author’s note: No, YOU’RE fired!

Ahem. Version 1.0.3 is out, and with it come a couple of small bugfixes, bigger icons for the Windows version, and… macOS support! For real this time.

I had to do some weird black magic to make the Mac build work, which involved downloading the latest version of Node-Webkit and sticking its assets into the package. So, long story short, Mac users are no longer left out.

Thanks for your patience while I mopped up all of the issues with the build. The game should now run correctly on both Windows and Mac. I don’t know if/when I’ll get Linux support nailed down, but I haven’t given up on it yet.

Stay tuned for more news in the coming months!

Behold, your reward for beating boss rush - this sick-as-heck 3D cutscene I threw together over the weekend!

Yeah, I know the game is mostly 2D, but I really felt like going way over the top with this game mode. I hope it paid off.

More underwater friends :)

There's something off about this room.

Almost as if we've entered a new dimension - a THIRD dimension.

Anyway, Construct 3 has had 3D features for a while and I decided to play with them a little. What do you think? Cool effect? Too jarring?

Avast! Space pirates!

And what's a captain without his crew? These scoundrels will be among the first to make life difficult for you in Phase 3.

I thought the escape sequence in Chapter 2 didn't have enough urgency to it, so I spiced it up a little.

I also wrote a new song to go with it!

Keep an eye out for this in the next update, coming... whenever I feel like it.

Rejoice! The jankiest puzzle in the game has been re-done.

It's still a little fiddly, but now the boulder's less likely to do screwy things like get stuck on a platform, or teleport you to the side on touch.

Scenic subterranean lake ambiance.

It seems so peaceful... for now.
