The latest version of BLAME, which features a new engine and pieces of the Entities story, is now available. It’s still a beta, since some of the mechanics need to be hammered out, but hopefully I’ll be able to tweak it and polish it with the help of the community.
When the last version of BLAME was released, I had an amazing time watching all the Let’s Plays that I could find. Thank you to everyone who played it! I really enjoy watching them, and they help me to better understand the game development process. I hope that new players will enjoy the new game and want to share their experiences.
For the past six days I’ve spent sleepless nights building this new engine from the ground up. It’s been hectic, stressful, but satisfying. I really like being able to make something that you guys can play and enjoy, and I hope I’ve done so. New features like the usable inventory items and the story elements should (hopefully) give the game a better sense of purpose. I’ve also added in a few easter eggs and secrets. More will come in later releases, but keep an eye out for them.
BLAME has recieved almost 4,000 views and plays. This is my very first game, so I’m both amazed and extremely grateful for every one of them. Thank you guys so much.
