The new demo for GUIDANCE is finally here!

This is a massive gameplay and graphics update, with a completely new progression system, reimagined bossfights, and plenty of tweaks!

Since I'm replacing the old pinned post, I figured I may as well reference it. I wonder how many people will catch that

Well, I just made it infinitely less fun by pointing it out. Oh well. 🙄

A description of what the new demo has to offer (both old and new) can be found on both the Game Jolt and Steam pages!

But, I suppose I can specify pretty much everything that's been changed since the old version.

  • All new and remade from the ground up skills!

  • All new Angel Meter system!

  • A unique and all new progression system with "Soul Shards" and "Pendants"

  • Each character now has a unique ability, rather than just "defending" for a turn.

  • New enemies!

  • All new enemy portraits and battle backgrounds

  • Completely reimagined boss fights!

  • New and additional level environments

  • Brand new interactions with Charlie, and a small sidequest!

  • Lots of improved and updated tilesets

  • New graphics relating to the Angels appearance in several locations, including a new title-card

  • Various tweaks to cutscenes to make the dialogue flow better, and be more clear to read

  • And probably a fair share of other stuff, including anything that needed to be changed to account for the other changes.

Overall, this new demo is just way more polished, and I'm quite happy with it. I look forward to hearing your thoughts, and sincerely hope you enjoy it! ^.^

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
