One Night at the Old Location 2

The page is back!!!!

About a year ago, the page was set to private following the development of a full version that was ultimately never released to the public. Regrettably, it wasn't even completed to its entirety. For those who were present before the posts were removed, or are aware of Gamejolt's policy of post deletion upon collaborator departure, you likely understand what I mean by "full version." Nevertheless, I'll provide a brief explanation once more.

For our longstanding followers, the project was always referred to as "Prototype." It served as more of a testing phase where I experimented with rapid development. I meticulously outlined every concept for the actual game, which, regrettably, never saw the light of day due to my inertia in 2020. The project gradually fell by the wayside as my enthusiasm for game development waned, leaving the prototype as the sole remainder on this page.

Approximately a year ago, I embarked on the development of Onatol 2 FV, the original Onatol 2. However, after encountering a series of setbacks, I had to halt progress on that particular game to redirect my focus towards more promising endeavors. This is why the page was temporarily taken offline, to ready it for the authentic game, which is slated for release no earlier than 2025. We have a multitude of more pressing matters to attend to.

Now, the page has been reinstated with a meticulously remastered appearance. We opted to refine the prototype to enhance its visual appeal and introduce additional features. We also took the liberty of incorporating select mechanics from the full version, albeit with fewer steps. You'll experience these improvements firsthand when you play the game.

And so, here we stand. If all goes according to plan, the game is set to launch this month, boasting a plethora of new, engaging elements. We acknowledge that this may not be the game you've been eagerly anticipating. The full version will come in due course. For now, however, this is what you can expect.

Warm regards,

Benkher

This was probably one of the more requested and wished for features I've seen from the demo but now there's an Undo and Redo option in the game!

The Tiles and Objects have their own individual undo and redo lists.

Man i love how i'm supposed to work on my own game. and somehow end up in situations where i'm working on something completely different.

History has a tendency to repeat itself, doesn't it, @DenverDSnail ?

Repainted in Gold's gamepage update is HERE!

Wishing each and every one of you a joyous and prosperous New Year!
