Hi everyone!
I made a Mossberg 590 Tactical Shotgun model. I also made a world model for it.
The viewmodel (the high-detailed model, for first-person view) has 2979 triangles, which is not really high.

And the worldmodel (the low-detailed model, for third person view) has 1302 triangles, which means the triangles have been more than 50% reduced.

Although the triangles have been reduced so drastically, it doesn't affect the quality that much. You can see the differences here and there, but those are so barely noticable.
Plus, imagine two hands holding the world model in third-person view. The differences will even get harder to notice.
