Mario and Luigi: Superstar Simulator

There are about 5 characters in my "future characters" folder, Yoshi being one of them. Today I'll talk about his moveset in the article

I would've added Yoshi a long time ago if his moveset was easy to make. His jump move won't be similar to Mario or Luigi's whatsoever, not even being similar to Wario's ground pound. Yoshi starts off by jumping from his original position. You then have to press Z for him to flutter jump to continue the move or else he'll land on the ground and walk back. During the flutter jump, you have to make sure Yoshi is on top of the enemy, and then press the down key. He'll wind up a ground pound and if he successfully hits the enemy, he'll deal damage and bounce back. His second move is the egg throw. The move is almost a complete replica of Yoshi's island, where you have to aim an automatically moving reticle towards an enemy and then throw. His third move is the tongue. Similar to TTYD, you have to hold the Z button to walk forward, except he'll only stop and bring out his tongue if you let go of Z. The damage he deals depends on how long his tongue expands. It can't expand forever though. If you are too far back, the tongue won't connect. If you are too close, Yoshi will trip. Sounds like an incredibly difficult moveset to make, right? Well it is, and I haven't even started it yet. But when he's done, it'll be worth it. Cya next time!

The first test for detailed palette swapping was successful (for the most part)!

Finally fixed a pretty bad bug where if you hit a block too quickly, it would keep rotating. The fix is only applied to the solo block in this clip to demonstrate how broken the bug made things lol
