Third Update! (v0.7)

Here's the penultimate major update to the game! The only big things left to add are the continue function and the final level. While there are no more new enemies to add, I think this last level will still be very interesting...

This update introduces a new enemy type, the "Dasher" who dashes across the screen to hit the player. This update has also reworked the weapon system, so now you can go back and forth between weapons. Anyway, here is the change log:

Additions:

Added new enemy "Dasher"

Added fourth level (temporarily using the level 2 theme)

Fixes:

Changed weapon swapping system so the player can go backward through the weapons

Changed the Weapon Switching tutorial to fit the new weapon swapping system

Changed weapon switching from the x button to the left and right bumpers

Fixed graphical issue where an enemy would stay in the transparent state if despawned while hit then respawned

Fixed issue where respawned enemies would appear where they were before despawning

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
