Images are better than words… sometimes

As I said before I decided to start the development by doing an art prototype instead of a gameplay one because I know 3D will take me more time since, I have to learn new stuffs. For that reason, I have been doing the 3D models prototypes that you see in the images.
Making them as low poly (and good looking) as possible is my main priority so every vertex matters to me. This is because my main goal is that the game can be played even if you have a not too powerful PC or a not too recent smartphone.
The environment is based on how houses and neighborhoods look in my country since I want to show a bit of how the urban life is in here in some way.
What do you think of them?
What’s next?
For the rest of the week I will continue doing more meshes for the character clothes, more environment assets, Tweaking vertex here and there, etc. Then next week I’ll work on textures.
I brought some animations from the asset store so for pre production I’ll use some of them to start working on a gameplay prototype as soon as possible.
Finally
Thanks to the new people that started following the game and also those that have stick around since I posted the project here in 2016!
