Soul Update is an Action - RPG with Shooter elements about taking meaningful decisions either on its turn based but fluid battle system or by interacting with the environment and characters.

  • A fluid Action - RPG with shooter elements in an over the shoulder view.

  • Inventory Management (Limited resources).

  • Dash mechanic for avoiding attacks and moving around a pivot point.

  • Player customization that affects gameplay.

  • Level system that will be influenced by your in-game decisions.

  • A moral system with 2 Possible endings.

  • A short but interesting story.

Story

One day after school our protagonist attend the launch of a revolutionary VR system for their smartphone that gives an unique way to interact in a digital world in an anonymous way bringing many surprises and new perspectives for those who try it.

Lack of updates due to:
- An event. (Pics)
- Signed a contract to develop an app (ends July). 2 more apps in the queue
- Improving and porting Void in the Sky (https://gamejolt.com/games/void-in-the-sky/406864) for PC and ??? (requires less time)

- Still working on Soul Update

We are going from left to right. Why? the answer soon. (Don't you think that peeking ear is cute? )

- Limitations: I have to deliver 2 non-game related projects so I'm doing progress but slowly, I work on parts that help me relieve stress from work.

Quick note:

- I had an issue with animations but it got solved. (For prototyping)
- I just delivered a project for a client. I'm working on a boring but useful app for another client. I won't be able to post frequently (gotta pay the bills). #shooter

Today I tweaked a little bit the face (Pic 1) and tested a few animations (gif). I was in an event from work so I couldn't progress that much but I want to have a better prototype build before February ends. See you soon! #shooter #anime

Instead of using the 3D model of a future game of mine (Last gif) I'll use this placeholder (more personalized) that shows the feel I'm trying to communicate in the game. I tried VRoid for 1 1/2 hour and I think I can use this model for prototypes
