This is my 4th ? devlog/show off of Planet E.2G.56.PA or Planet E2PA for short


So a lot has changed and a lot of thigs were reworked:

  1. I added a localization system (because i like everyone no mater where they live).

  2. I reworked the world system (before the rework, we generated a random Perlin noise and made a world from it we never saved the world data anywhere meaning saving and properly loading could not be done with the rework we now save the seed in the world folder register file (its a file that registers the folder path as a world path in game) and from that we can reload the terrain).

  3. We have a Day/Night cycle system

  4. We have a base building system

  5. New crafting recipes

  6. I added a loading screen

  7. I also added a menu

  8. I also have been experimenting with a new pixel art look as you can see in the video, but i am unsure of this change if you think the game would look better with pixel art or Original look please tell

Next up

I have been running experiments on how Fractured Balance can improve it's feel and look by adding a background and foreground, and this here is the first draft of the experiment

A while ago, The idea of a tower or automated defence was suggested for Fractured Balance and now. This ghost fella exists. (now he isn't completely finished so he might not initially be in the Demo release, but he will be in the Demo and Full game)

Implemented 2 fun mechanics:

1. Implemented: Dashing into a enemy instantly kills them

2. Implemented: Falling on a enemy kills them and resets your jump allowing you to jump on another enemy killing them

Ah well. It's been eight months or so since the last upload here, which means you get another spoonful of content. Recently I have done the impossible at last: finished a character design! Two of them, actually. Oh, and I wrote a silly shader. Enjoy.
