I'm gonna be honest, I do not know if I'll have the time or the will to get through this. I have to deal with work, school, friends, ADHD and just real life in general.
With that being said, I managed to get a prototype of networking stuff, just sending a 'hello world', from my desktop computer to my laptop with both connected to a different rooter. For the majority of people who never touched networking, it may not sound like much, but that's the hardest part done, especially with GMS2.
Now, what does this all mean ? Well, I got a friend willing to redo the UI, at least part of it, I got some motivation thanks to that networking success, and a few ideas written down which are, I think, doable for me. All of this makes me want to try and go from a clean blank slate again to hopefully make something I'll be proud of, something that will bring fun to others, a game that will (obviously) be called : Space War KTA 3 !
If by some great luck, you who were kind and patient enough to read this through the end, wish to help me; then a comment with a few kind words would help, ideas would be better, while some actual help with the game itself should surely increase manyfolds the chance for this project to succeed.
