My reference image was Grim Fandango's soundtrack cover.
Original time to make this: 1h and 20 minutes;
I started using ASEprite's standard palette (also known as "Dawnbringer's Fhager 32 colors"). However, I ended up only using 5 colors from it. The final palette was this one:
Software used: ASEprite (for drawing) and KDENlive (for video editing);
Music: "Rising Hero" by Holizna, available on the Free Music Archive webpage.

Sharing the pixel art I did for a personal project I never got to make. The player would control an enchanted chest that had to investigate the disappearance of its wizard master!
