Timetales update 1.2.4


Not letting my NSIS issues slow me down, I decided to release the latest version of Timetales, aka version 1.2.4! While this version is a bit more than a ‘patch’, I’ve decided to call it one since I didn’t actually add anything to the main story. There ARE several updates, however, with the primary ones listed below:

-Added in more legitimate buttons for the opening screen and text responses that you can actually click on
-Fixed a multitude of glitches that I discovered by doing a complete play-through of what I have (but still let me know if you find any others)
-Modified the opening extras room, as the information the two characters in the room originally gave can also be accessed under the ‘Extras’ tab in the menu
-A couple of monsters are now in the extras room that you can talk to in order to initiate a battle, one of which grants you a new achievement upon defeat. Be sure to save after collecting it!
-Added a TRUE RESET, which completely deletes your save file… USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
-Added some retiling in the first room of the Ruins. Let me know what you think of it and if I should continue it for all the other Ruins rooms

I’m planning to work on the next story area for Kingamers next, but know that this stuff takes time. Thank you for having so much ‘light blue’!

P.S.: I’ve noticed that a couple glitches only show up in the .EXE file and NOT the actual game file. I will try to fix these in the next update but HOPEFULLY these are mostly minor glitches that don’t hinder game progression.

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
