This is Luigi's Nights at Freddy's, my personal dream (or nightmare) project I am putting together in hype for FNAF's 10 year anniversary!
Now that my semester project Phantom Focus has been released and holidays draw near, I will soon continue work on this fangame and release a demo within the upcoming month.
The game is currently in an Alpha phase (if you want to call it that). There is no story or pizzeria yet; only the scenes you've seen in the trailer with my experiments on how to implement the mechanics I've designed.
My plan is to post a short devlog every week, if I made progress in that time. Please remember that this game is being developed by mainly one person, myself.
Thanks to the incredible tool of ChatGPT, I can prototype ALL of my ideas in an instant! Everything you see in the gameplay was scripted by the AI with my guidance. It's like a dream come true. Do you know how long I've been accumulating game concepts without any way to make them real? At least 10 years! Which was also the time where my first idea for THIS game came to be. Now my dream can finally become a reality!
Two very nice people I know from Games Academy have already suggested their support. Tony wants to help with rigging, and Olli would like to lend a hand with programming to get more into Unity.
Thanks to the both of them, and all of you for reading!
Let's-a go!
Luigi's Mansion belongs to Nintendo
Five Nights at Freddy's belongs to Scott Cawthon
