FNaF has been one of the most beloved franchises of all time, although the franchise had its bad moments, it never stopped being loved, so today, like yesterday, its movie premiered, today I will give my review
Review:
First, talk about the synopsis, don't worry, it doesn't have any spoilers. The movie is about how Mike was fired from his previous job due to a trauma that affected him throughout the movie and his boss offers him the job of being a security guard at Freddys Fazbear Pizza. where your nights pass in the movie and you will discover the terrible secrets of this strange place.
Let's see the film fulfills its role of being an extraordinary film, it respects many elements of the saga without being an event in the main universe of the games. Emma Taimi did a good job directing this film and also the entire cast does an incredible job making their characters and Matthew Lillard steals the show being William Afton but what a shame that that couldn't be seen more due to the short time he has in the film.
and it is also worth mentioning that the animatronics look incredible, beautiful, they are art, they steal the movie in every scene. Jim Henson did a very good job with the animatronics in the film, all of them a good job and very faithful to their counterparts in the game.
But with everything mentioned that does not mean that the film is a work of art, it also has its bad points and those are the 2nd and 3rd acts.
2: This is where the movie declines quite a bit, we start with a 1 act that does it wonderfully but in this one it declines quite a bit to the point that it felt quite generic and apart from that there was no shortage of laughs eh.
3: It is where they more or less rescue the film but it is still very bad, especially knowing that in this scene a lot could be done which ended up making it to the final cut, even so it is not a bad act, it just needs more.
In conclusion, FNaF for me, in the opinion of a fan, is a work of art, a movie that showed me how much I love the franchise since 2014, my self 8 years ago is happier and more content now so it's a 10/10.
But in Critic's opinion, the film is not bad, although this work is more aimed at the fans than at the critics themselves, but the film itself has quite a few errors that make the film mediocre and generic, so it is a 5/10.
But that doesn't matter to me. For me, the movie is a 10/10 in all its splendor and it will continue to be so. I hope this one does quite well so that in the not-so-distant future we will have a sequel. Well that was my opinion so I say goodbye bye.
