Hey guys. This has been on my mind for a while now. I'm officially cancelling TPOD. I'm sorry for those (who actually) who were hyped for game. But the truth is, I've simply no interest in making this game, due to the fact I've got no time anymore. I use my spare time to work on the game but for a full on project such as this, 'spare time' isn't really going to help when I'm already working on other things. It's sad to see this project go, but that's the way things are going for me unfortunately. The game was a pretty old concept anyway and it was pretty farfetched to think this would actually go anywhere. The reason I say this is because I use RPG Maker, and RPG Maker is pretty limited. The pre-installed battle system is what was intended for TPOD however, I've used it quite myself, and it's an irritating process to create boss fights with it, because you have determine attacks, set appropriate HP, set the amount XP you get upon killing the enemy, that sort of thing. Not only that, the system is pretty generic and while the animations are kinda decent I doubt it's something anyone would really enjoy. That said, I will continue to use RPG Maker for future projects (If there are any) but I'll try and steer away from using the default materials. (That was the original concept of TPOD. A challenge game based on the Default RPG Maker assets.)
So what's next? Well for now, I'm going to focus on school and then we'll see for the future if there are any projects I can come up with.
Again, I'm sorry for those who were (actually) hyped for the game. I'll leave the demo up, and you are free to use TPOD for whatever you please, should you wish to continue it's storyline (Though I doubt it). Anyway, thank you for the people who followed the game.
