Due to the end of my Winter Holidays, I've only really done this shading test for the game itself. I think could fit the cyberpunk-dystopian setting and look quite well, so I'll experiment further with it.
The next milestone for the game is to step up a bit from the Game Jam version by fixing some sound stuff, giving it a UI, adding more effects (impact, muzzle flash, dead bodies), fixing bugs, detailing the Level, re-balancing the Units and doing some other quality of life improvements.
I won't go any further with that current version though, since the OASIS 2 Build I used in the game has shown some weak points.
With this said, most work this week was dedicated to revamping systems and upgrading the abilities of OASIS 2. Most importantly I've upgraded parts of the lighting algorithm which now enables me to have realistic coloured light - perfect for the neonlight filled cyberpunk setting.
The gamejolt page for OASIS 2 Engine should also go live in the following days, where you can see all that progress and the abilities of the Engine. Once it's in a de facto finished state, I'll continue working on Corporatocracy properly, but I might do art, world building and more until then.
I know this is a rather unsatisfying read and I've not got a lot to show you rn, but that should change with the Engine's Page going up and then you might be as hyped as I am... :)
