Truck City Demo v0.32 update notes


Truck City v0.32-Demo has just been released. This is the change log:

  • Feature: added a full dependency graph view for all items and factories, accessible from F1 menu, (see all)

  • Improvement: Intersection window shows environment now

  • Bugfix: intersections don’t accept 0 second cycle duration anymore

  • Improvement: trucks now show who is blocking them

  • Bugfix: selection rectangle is now hidden if a window is opened

  • Improvement: One-way road tooltip is now hidden when clicking an intersection

  • Bugfix: Truck path line is now correctly printed when taking many turns (was previously hidden in consecutive corners)

  • Improvement: Research centers now have muti-colored lights

  • Bugfix: improved traffic management when factories are deleted

  • Bugfix/improvement: resource creation algorithm improved to save time when loading maps

  • Bugfix: resources would be placed with sharp edge tiles sometimes

  • Bugfix: the minimap would not show resources in some cases

  • Improvement: Improved truck behaviour under extreme traffic conditions (no path anywhere)

  • Improvement: Improved truck pathing when reentering town

  • Bugfix: truck pathing fixed for very short routes

  • Bugfix: fixed bug on path deallocation after entering a truck depot

In Godot I added a short FogVolume which covers the whole map, then modify its density at night.

DirectionalLight3D progressively changes intensity and colors at dawn and night, and back again to white at sunrise
