Hello! I'd like to share some updates regarding the 3 side projects I have on this page.
DELTARUNE Music Player
So, I haven't been working on it all that much. This is because I've seen the current version as fit for a stable release. That and because some of the new features I'm working on for the next release are pretty buggy.
However, I have noticed one pretty large issue.
The music player can stop playing music sometimes when intensive processes are being used on your PC.
As far as I'm aware, this is an issue with GameMaker, not with the music player. Some games made in GameMaker (like Deltarune) have this issue too, where music may cut out if your resources are being eaten up by other apps on your PC.
To fix this, I would probably have to rewrite the music player in another coding language, which is not something I'd be able to do easily considering I only know how to code in GameMaker.
Hoping it can still be useful despite that!
Custom DELTARUNE Wallpaper
As you've seen if you've been following my projects, I've developed a second version for this project in particular. Currently it's just a copy of the first version.
Only reason for this is because I reset my pc a few months ago, forgetting to save most of the project files I had. This mainly affected projects I had saved where all my Steam games were. Stupid mistake, I know.
Thankfully I managed to restore the wallpaper through external means. Pretty bad mistake, but at least I managed to get some stuff back!
Wallpaper should be updated around the time Chapter 5 gets announced, or when I notice bugs that should get fixed.
DeltaModManager
I do have a build for this, but it doesn't do the actual mod managing part. There's an extension I'll need for this, but it costs real money, which is something I can't afford to use right now.
On top of that, the UI for the mod manager doesn't look too good for my current standards. The build was made.. a year or so ago? I lost track. But at least it has a TON of customization features.
Hoping to get working on that at some point in the future. Might recode the entire thing when I get back to work on this project.
Anyway, that's really all I have to share. Stay tuned for next time!
