Update Release v0.7.0


Fixed bugs, new stuff, and changed stuff:

  • Engine Upgrade to 2019.4.18f1.

  • New area: Area 9 & Area 10

  • New enemy: Serpent

  • Defeating the Reaper will yet again award it's achievement.

  • Update to Sophia's sprite.

  • Sophia is given an idle animation.

  • Null Console updated to v2.4.

  • Volume settings are now correctly set upon start in the main menu.

  • Hair color is now separate from hairstyle.

  • Your character should now correctly load in the inventory screen again.

  • After finishing the Alpha build, the player may now continue playing and even enter the unfinished areas of the game.

  • Pickupable items now appear as a 3D model, and have a new animation.

  • Update to the In-game UI.

  • New Main Menu.

  • Barriers have received new visuals.

  • Monster's have been given a new AI controller.

  • The "Sword in the Stone" secret has been retired, and the greatswords have been added to the chest drop tables.

  • New secret has been added to area 3.

  • Changed Sword's Fire & Frost visuals.

  • New weapon models.

  • New items.

  • Some older item icons have been updated a little.

  • Archer skill "Ricochet Arrows" have been changed to "Explosive Arrows".

  • New Archer skills: "Barbed Arrows", "Gatherer", "Contract Killer".

  • New achievements for unlocking one of the last skills in a skill tree.

  • Sorcerer skill "Entangling of Energy" has been renamed "Entangling Energy".

  • George the suicidal ice slime will no longer die at the start of the game. He's gotten help <3

  • Putting your mouse over some settings will show info about them.

  • Settings option to enabled/disable the experience bar. (Disabled by default)

  • Upgrade to the in-game settings menu.

  • Color picker for hair color.

Bugs we know of, but have yet to be fixed:

  • Due to the new AI controller, all monsters from a previous save have been reset, and are all alive again. (Same goes for Items and Chests)

  • Chests can't be used when looking at the lid.

  • Loading a save which doesn't have the achievement "Thou Art Worthy", will be awarded the achievement upon loading complete.

Console errors we know about:

  • Material doesn't have a texture property '_MainTex'

Note:

Voidwalker skill tree is still under development.

Some changes may not have been added, as there's a lot to keep track of. As a lot gets made before changes are written down.
