Updated the Global Game Jam version


Seeing as there were some things that me and the team who worked on “Don’t Press Play” wanted to fix for a game that has been listed as “finished”, there will be continued updates to add more content and balancing as time goes on.

Anyways, the first update has been finished:

changes from last version:

  • level changes to level 3

  • pressing play now brings you to the beginning of a level instead of quitting the game

  • players now can’t grab previously acquired checkpoints

  • enemies do not respawn at their original positions upon player death

I hope the game becomes more enjoyable as we develop the game further! If you haven’t played the game yet, I, of course, ask you to try out our little global game jam game and tell us what you think! Even bad criticism is awesome criticism in our books!

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
