Dear followers,
It has been quite a hectic week for me.
i spent a bit more time on adjusting the carry over exp points.
had an idea on creating an animated pause menu. but then hit a road block when i actually pause the time of the game, the animations would pause as well. i guess i have to address this another way. maybe individually disabling the characters on the scene. will look into this
after this is the item inventory system so that i can put it into my pause menu. for some reason i am kinda afraid this as im expecting it to be really complicated. but hey, you know until you get started, right?
was busy with mostly my day job as an academician. its the sem break so its the time where we lecturers gather and have meetings over students marks and problems and stuff. and apparently i was tasked on handling an info day for my university at our parent company. so that day was wasted.
showed this project to some people and some of them have shown interest on joining this crusade with me. so i did sat down with them and discussed about the game back story and where i had it planned to be heading. got some good insights and relief that i wont be totally working on it alone. just hate it that i cant really afford to actually hire them to be my partners and all.
and apparently i got invited for another research project by one of my colleages at the university. so i might be using my spare time on time. which probably slows down this game development progress
since i might not spend time on actually developing this game for these few weeks, i thought i could work on the character profiles and the overall storyline for this game. at least for that, all i need is a pen and paper. and a good atmosphere.
pray for my success. i could use all the help i can get. now if i could just be more disciplined in this.
