Sadly, another bug makes it impossible for the game to start unless it is started through Quickplay or by passing the command line option gjapi_username=NAME gjapi_token=TOKEN where NAME is your username and TOKEN is your user token while starting the game. Then the game should work. Sorry for this! It will all be fixed in the final release, available once the Game Jam is over.
