The release of the first version of the remaster is here! This is a rather bare-bones version, however there's still quite a bit to mess around with in this current version. Things should speed up quite a bit now that the game is out.

Save Slots, allowing for up to 3 separate saves to exist at once
New settings menu, alongside a ton of new settings
New tier 3 upgrades for all towers, only 1 tier 3 can be purchased on a tower
Level up progression system
Start with only Crossbow, however you unlock another tower of your choice every 2nd level
Tower rank progression system
Towers now gain XP, similar to player XP, however it's split amongst the amount of towers on the field
For example, if there's 1 of one tower and 2 of another, the 1st tower gets 33% of the XP and the 2nd tower gets 67% of the XP
Towers start with only tier 1 upgrades, but gain the next tier of upgrades per rank
Tower ranks are currently capped at rank 4
Icons for every tower upgrade, ability, and buff
Visual effects for tower inflicted debuffs
Brand new saved game preview
New "Hollow Priority" targeting for towers with hollow detecting upgrades

Map Progress System
Completing any gamemode on a map will now grant a key
Keys are equal to the difficulty of the map itself, and can be used to unlock maps that are at most 1 difficulty higher
For example, an intermediate key can unlock an intermediate or advanced map.
All beginner maps are unlocked automatically
Modified enemy speed in certain gamemodes
Reduced speed in Easy but increased speed in Hard and Extreme
A new system to ensure players don't miss out on newly added content unlock through level ups
A new tutorial
Lasts until player level 6, allowing players to start with 4 towers and 300 Stones
Can be skipped, automatically granting the missed player XP
