Added adaptive music - music now changes according to the situation: more (dangerous) enemies mean more music. Now a slightly larger file size. (about 11MB)
Fixed a couple of bugs with peaceful creature AI.
Fixed bug causing weapons to lag behind player’s position.
Changed creature level/stat system - now creatures of higher levels and with higher stats spawn further away from the ship; if you venture too far you will almost certainly die.
Re-Scripted Territorial AI - I have entirely re-written the AI code for Territorial creatures. They now interact properly with the environment and each other. Additionally, creatures must ‘charge’ an attack (there is a time delay and animation before their attack damages you). This adds skill to the game as you learn how each creature attacks. There should also be less lag now.
Re-Scripted Territorial AI - works similarly to Territorial at the moment, except they won’t attack and will flee instead.
Added new death for creatures - the creature is knocked away and ‘explodes’.
Added Knockback on creatures - hitting a creature knocks it away.Does not knock back while the creature is attacking.
Added HealthBars above creatures.
Fixed creatures ‘becoming stuck’ and spinning in solid objects such as rocks.
Re-Scripted the Kinesis system. Far smoother now. The second line (leading to the mouse) currently does nothing but may be used to anchor creatures in place and other cool things.
Cleaned up a lot of code and halved the number of lines of script that creatures use; file size should be reduced.
Reduced further how dark the level can get, and modified the blend sprite for the darkness surface.
Fixed bug which caused stats to reset.
