Version 1.1.87 is here.

Changelog:

Quest:

-Adjusted main quest objective trackers to account for players that may get certain discs out of order before the prompt

Halloween Backstage:

-Added a few extra trigger events when Possy's not-so-subtle hint spots are active

Overworld:

-Major rework to the mechanics of roaming enemy sprites in relation to the player's current location:

Instead of a faulty speed ramp up or trying to spawn in more to compensate, they will instead be forcefully relocated within bounds of a player if they are too far away

-Added a roaming enemy glitch that will remain regardless of spawn chance

-Roaming enemy glitches are now attracted to sound

Options:

-Spawn chance of roaming enemy glitches has been inverted

(So 10 will spawn the most, while 1 will spawn the least. Pre-existing saves will likely need to have these values manually adjusted should this option be toggled on.)

Title Screen:

-Game will now set the Spawn chance to 5 by default

Can it be done?

(Also, Happy New Year)

Got a (mostly stable) demo ready for the occasion!

Suppose it's rude to come back doing polls without showing some sort of progress for it.

Still deciding if it's worth committing to a full rebuild, but I at least figured out a better way to handle the party swapping mechanic.

Still have to address a few tweaks to layering and test some other sidequests, but I think that we're back on track again.

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

I might be having too much fun with this process...

I know it's completely unintentional, but I swear this is the universe trying to convince me to dig my old handiwork out of retirement and do something with him.
