I return with the second last (last for the second time) major update!!
General
The game now runs using Direct3D 11 instead of Direct3D 9, which will boost performance quite a bit. As a side effect, certain sound effects no longer mute after a while, and some fonts may look different.
Main application volume reduced from 100 -> 60
Bug Fixes
Fixed being unable to get the trophies for Universe, Clock, and 4th Glitch endings, due to the save file change from last update.
Jack-O-Bombs don't delay Victory (was actually already a thing from last patch)
Enemy Mega Virus was only supposed to be a single-target attack, but an oversight caused it to attack everyone per hit. But rather than nerfing it to oblivion by comparison, it now only has the potential to hit everyone.
Hitting an Update 2 challenger with Buzzsaw no longer gives them more health than damage you dealt to them.
Desk Man had the first four lines of his dialogue skipped during the ending, due to a debugging value that never got turned off. Now he doesn't immediately go to turn off the lights.
Arranged how the battle tracks are played to fix a potential issue with Stone Cold not playing (bug introduced due to last update).
Gameplay Changes
Added back two things that went unused from the main game.
A previous obsolete save file value now does something.
Toxic Song was removed from the attack pool on Fixed Party mode.
Top row challengers now have every special attack in their arsenal.
The countdown for the Rainbow fight is now 5 minutes on Fixed Party. You're expected to go in with a strategy, but in Fixed Party, that's impossible, so you're given more time to accommodate for that (but it still may not be enough).
There is a new settings option to make exp and token values tick down instantly. Find it by opening the Blob Settings (on file menu).
I forgot that I re-added the feature for getting Animdude/Mr. Chipper as party members after triggering their boss endings. I removed it when I re-discovered it, but added it back and just added an extra requirement that you needed to have beaten Animdude/Chipper as their actual bosses during your play session, and then trigger their ending to recruit them. (Closing/resetting the game after defeating them will make the game forget you fought them, FYI.)
If you have 5 or less challengers left to find, the game will now start checking and rerolling challengers multiple times per fight to help you get the rest.
Visual Changes
The intro and ending to the boss fight in Geist Lair has a "unique" animation depending on who it is, along with a handful of changes to the post-fight Desk Man scene. You'll see when you get there.
All enemies fought in TWRE now have the inverted effect.
Enemy Waterhose has particle effects and is layered properly. You were all asking for it.
RANDOMIZER text added to the title screen. What took so long? The answer is that it took long. Don't try clicking it; it's sensitive.
Remade the atrocious application icon
8Bit Fredbear is now more specific about something. That something I will not say.
More different Animdude dialogue for the bosses that were still left out.
Your butterfly family will now follow you when you begin moving again.
Rare event on warning menu if you're impatient.
The Party menu buttons in Fixed Party are now either gone or invisible since you don't need them (was already a feature in the original game, but it was broken).
The Done/Reset buttons on the party menu are back to their normal size when beginning a new game, since chip/byte options wouldn't be available yet.
The two bottom row challengers have their proper names, but there is a chance their names will be the same as before.
The Fan trophy is interactable.
---------------------------------------------------------
And that's everything I've wanted to do coming back to this game. If something's still broken, lemme know and I'll fix it, but other than that, I'm content with the state of the game. It's come a long way I think, and thank you to everyone who's commented/left a like/followed/ or even uploaded playthroughs (those were fun to watch). I don't really have any plans to develop anything else, but things can change. I did release a new mod in between these two updates, which is: FNaF World: High Diff and Same Character Mod by K-C_rwq - Game Jolt. As the name gave away, it gives you more freedom with what you can do regarding the difficulty and character combinations. But that's it for me. Cya.
