Version 1020 - New tutorial


Just released a new update for Hexaria as part of my polish weekend. I did Box Kickers X yesterday, and worked on Hexaria today.

The most notable new feature is the tutorial. Previously you had the ‘Help’ screen explaining the game to you, but most people just ignored it and jumped straight into the game, where they couldn’t figure out what to do. The tutorial learns you the game interactively in about two minutes.

I’ve also taken the opportunity replace the Linux port of the game by a maintained version. This brings the Linux version up to the same version as on Windows. Some of the GameJolt features are still not working correctly on the Linux target, but at least you’ll be able to use all other added features.
