Hey everyone, I thought I’d give you an update as to where I’m at in terms of updating this project. I should hopefully have an update coming in the next week or two, depending on how testing goes. The reason why it’s taking so long to build this project probably boils down to the fact that, besides a few beta testers, I’ve pretty much been working on this on my own.
My free time is split in many different ways, between multiple other game and music projects, my Gamemaker tutorials, this, and many other things. This project has also turned more into a way for me to learn a LOT more about Gamemaker Studio 2 - and programming in general - so because I’ve also been partially learning as I go, it’s taken additional time to debug a lot of things.
With that being said, I want to re-state that this project IS NOT dead. I am still actively working on it (even if I’m not updating it regularly), as well as adding stuff to it from my in-the-works Gamemaker Studio 1.4 tutorials. Part 1 of that is already out on my YouTube, and I’ll be recording the remaining parts after I finish this most recent update on Timetales.
I’d also like to thank everyone who’s still keeping up with this solo project of mine. Thank you for being patient and I hope that you continue bearing with me as I slowly-but surely- build this extensive re-imagined Undertale project.
Also as a side note: besides the soundtracks here, I’ve also posted a lot of music I’ve remixed for this project on my YouTube and SoundCloud pages, which have been added to the Timetales description page for anyone who’s interested.
There’s also a SECOND game project that I have planned in the far-off future - like I mentioned before - but I’ll talk about that in more detail (and will probably make a second page for it right here on Game Jolt) after I make some more progress on this.
