Hello everyone!
As promised, here is an update fixing most (I hope) difficulty issues as well as adding some new stuff.
It’s a bit late because I was trying to fix a save slot related glitch mentioned below (my lack of free time was a reason for that too).
Change list:
Custom Difficulty:
Ability to change things like amount of HP, enemy spawn rates etc.
New feature: Health regen. (Easy and Custom only)
After avoiding being hit for 5 seconds, your health starts rapidly regenerating.
Easy difficulty tweaks:
Slower enemy spawns
Fixes to health issues on certain levels
Easier bosses
Fear The Void difficulty tweaks:
Fixes to health issues on certain levels
Higher bullet damage (12.5 from 5)
Health increased to 100 from 95
Harder bosses
Hard difficulty tweaks:
Fixes to health issues on certain levels
Higher bullet damage (7.5 from 5)
Health increased to 100 from 95
New health bar:
A lot of people said that there should be a health bar in addition to the amount of HP so here’s the current design:
Fixes and tweaks to Avatar and News downloading:
Everything should work faster now
Avatars now only redownload if the user has changed them
Small changes and tweaks:
Fixed an issue with the game using up to 1GB of RAM at the start (down to less than 100MB)
The KronewGames logo is now in 720p instead of 338p
Game Jolt token is now hidden at the start, but you can press a button to make it visible (This option was made so the launching the game is more streamer/public friendly)
Known issues in this update:
Save slots 2 and 3 can’t load save file info (Version, difficulty etc,). The cause of this bug is unknown. I’m still trying to fix it, but it seems like the Ini++ object broke (not my fault) as the previous version of VOID_r now have this bug too.
There are still some small health calculating issues.
Enemy death sounds is still glitchy.Next Update is either 1.0.6/1.0.7 (if I find a way to fix the bugs) or 1.1.0 (the Challenge Mode Update)
