Masochisia on Steam Greenlight

Just another update on the Masochisia development. I’m still heads down working on the game and am just getting started on Act 6, which is the final act of the game. Hard not to get burned out working on a “game” that’s this grim but— the ending is on the horizon…

The goal is to have the game ready for release sometime in late September, 2015. The game will be available for PC, Mac & Linux. I’ve considered some mobile ports as well, but don’t think that will occur this year. While Masochisia is a very personal game for me, I’d like to get my work into as many hands as possible. That’s why the game is currently on Steam Greenlight. You can do me a huge favor by giving us a YES vote on Steam Greenlight and sharing the link on Twitter, Facebook and anywhere else.

Getting the game onto Steam would allow the game to potentially be seen by a large audience. A few people have asked me about “price” of the game and I personally haven’t given that much thought. I do know I want it to be less than the usual “indie” $9.99 because I want to get the game into as many hands as possible. This was never meant to be a “commercial” game, but being able to fund myself to continue to make games would make my life a lot easier…

Thanks for reading everyone. I’m looking forward to sharing the completed game with all of you. Everyone who has submitted feedback, encouragment and ideas… it’s all been very helpful. I definitely could not have continued on this game without the outpouring of positive feedback I’ve received from the Gamejolt community.

Best regards,
