So after finding time to go through Voxlap, I find I may indeed be able to figure out how to use it.
The trick is getting the proper software to compile it. I finally found the proper toolkit, and also a similar opengl version someone else has made.
If successful, this could remove a lot of limits plus allow the game to be more independant and portable. Currently though expect it to be developed towards Win32. Although I’ve been told that Evaldraw and possibly Voxlap can run under Wine in Linux and Mac OS.
So if you have Wine, you can check out the demo thats already available.
You can learn more about Evaldraw here. It has a bunch of other uses and can potentially help you learn C coding.
