It's been a little while, but it's time for a new update!
So what happened since the last development update?
The game went through a big internal playtest phase where developers of the game got to play through a WIP build of part 1 of the game. The response? Positive! A lot of the levels worked well, and the team really enjoyed what they got to play. A certain part with one character was mentioned as a big highlight, and it was genuinely really nice to hear how so much of the game really resonated.
But with that said, there was a lot of valid criticism, and many things that still need work.
A big criticism is that the latter fifth level from the current build just isn't as interesting as the rest of the levels, and doesn't have enough going on.
It's important to me for that level to hit right, with it being the last level of part 1, so the next step, along with trying to address criticisms and add some needed QoL additions to the game, is to refine that level proper and make it just more interesting to go through.
But outside of the playtest, progress has been good!
Finalized visuals are being made for a lot of the levels, new original music is being made, too. And with it all, code work that holds the whole game together is still being diligently made by the only main coder of the game, thenamesan. Shoutout to him 
Visuals have been visualising, music has been musicing, code has been coditing.
Everyone on the team has been doing some really great work.
