Game
Riverwood

Welcome to my first Devlog on Riverwood, wow I have a lot to share with this game, let's start with what the game is.

Riverwood is a retro-style FPS game that is being made with the Unity Engine and I've been working on it for about 2 or 3 weeks and mostly having fun messing around with what is entertaining and what should not be in the game. Working on this game is a lot of fun and I hope to continue working on it and eventually releasing a game that people can enjoy.

Anyway enjoy these few screenshots for now and hopefully, more will come soon and maybe even a video of gameplay or something, who knows.

Been working on an improved Character Controller for a new game, which is superior to the one I used on previous projects, and it has all the bells and whistles such as dashing, crouching, and double jumping! Super happy about the way it all turned out!

Created an zombie like enemy AI script which works (somewhat) well with the animation's and the player. Obviously very early showcase but I'm slowly working my way forward. #WIP #unity3d #gamedev #indiedev #screenshotsaturday

Hey everyone! Riverwood v1.1 is now available for download which includes many bug fixes and new bonus levels for you to continue your carnage!!!

Here's an early video of a simple door mechanic I worked on, I wanted to replicate Resident Evil's door system which changed rooms while keeping your position on the last room and when you returned your player spawned near the door. #indie #unity #gamedev
