Hello all,
I'd like to showcase some changes that have been made and will be released later this month. It is my hope that this will be the final update to the playable demo involving any significant changes outside of minor changes and bug fixes.
More lighting changes to make the game feel brighter.
Tool hud now displays a rotate button for KB/GP.
Multiple graphical errors have been fixed.
Anna's sprite has been updated.
Storage Kid's sprite has been reworked.
Storage kid now has an idle animation.
Some areas have been graphically adjusted.
I've decided to revamp the key system. Instead of having specific keys for specific doors, you will now find Small Keys.
The aim is to give players more freedom in their approach of exploring the orphanage. Of course, when you relapse you will lose these keys. That being said, specific keys will still have a place within the game.
You can have three save files instead of one now. The save files will record vastly more in-game data than before such as important progression being displayed.
Other Changes
To reflect the key system changes, the puzzle to get into the storage room has been changed.
The Storage Puzzle now has 5 solutions to getting the White Bunny Plush. This will be about par for most puzzles in the full release of Relapse the Neverland. It will vary on circumstance and puzzles.
The Storage puzzle minigame "Hide n' Seek" Has a different outcome now.
New npcs have been added and existing have some new dialogue choices to be made. Some npcs now give hints regarding the puzzles.
Dialogue when looting rocks out of the chest in the shack has been removed.
A new UI Effect has been implemented during the Court scene. It's totally not a reference to anything!
Patrolling Monsters now have a spawn animation associated with it.
Minor Time of Day Events have been implemented. For example, some events may happen around the 6th hour in the game, or the 3rd hour.
Action indicators have been added to the angel statues in the front entrance.
The letter for the front entrance puzzle has been moved from the Nun Statue area to the Front Entrance.
New official music tracks have been added, specifically involving the monsters.
Dialogue changes and grammar corrections.
Life HUD No longer delays.
Fixed any bugs regarding the loading/save system such as the player not being able to move after loading an autosave.
The "Pages" error should no longer occur.
The Bathroom Tub will no longer freeze you in place when interacting with it after you've obtained the key.
Fixed music bug in the guest save room.
Patrolling monsters no longer get stuck in a loop while patrolling.
Some emotes such were not centered on specific npcs and have been adjusted.
