When should I update?

So… The upcoming update will have some major changes and additions. I’m just wondering when I should release it. Take a look at the update and below I’ll explain why I’m hesitant.

Additions

  • Varied rooms: Dead ends, cut offs, bridges.

  • Map: The rooms are random but not disorganized, so now you can track where your at.

  • One use items: Blunderbust (shotgun), personal shield (belt), speed boots (boot).

  • Types of money: Gold bars, VCR, diamond, tablet

  • Crates: Small crates contain coins. Large crates contain items and larger sums of money.

Changes

  • Arenas are now grid based rooms

  • Arenas are now explorable

  • Enemies no long drops money

  • Ammonaught no longer drops 1up’s

  • 1up’s are hidden around the arena

  • Find the boss room to advance: Somewhere in one of the outside rooms is a boss waiting to destroy you.

Why I’m hesitant is because I’m looking at the one use items differently. What if they acted like rechargeable skills? or, some items are rechargable and others are not. I also have other items in planning. I’m wonder if I should wait to update after I’ve had a clear vision. Let me know what you think below, and leave a some comments

Just wanted to announce that Annihilator has left Early Access and is now a full release!

Welp. Got a new demo out. It's a block breaker game.

A little stupid thing I'm working.

Last night's stream was productive.

I started a Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/saltandpixel) and you can now access all my games (including CRUSH) for $5/month. Read the article for more information.

Cast is all here. Zernek did a great job with the character redesigns. https://twitter.com/Zernek1 Next, I need to redo the boss and level art.

Hey Everyone!

@toborprime released Savage: The Shard of Gosen as early access. (https://store.steampowered.com/app/408060/SAVAGE_The_Shard_of_Go…) Seriously, this is a game you need to get. It's an action platormer with some really good art and rpg elements.
