Hello everyone! I just wanted to post a quick devlog to tell why this update is so slow. The update is very close to complete, however there were some planed features for this update that got scrapped (such as lighting) that took a long time to experiment with. Additionally I want to insure everything is as bug free as possible and of the best quality when the update launches. Thank you guys for enjoying Squid, the update will be out ASAP!

GameJolt API is being integrated into Squid! This means there will be scoreboards and other cool new features! It's also worth noting that signing in will be completely optional, meaning offline play is still allowed if desired.
Running and Orb of Confusion
I wanted to make more ways to escape Squid's wrath, so I've come up with two new additions: a Running mechanic, and the Orb of Confusion. I won't go into much detail on these yet, but they will be released next update soon!
