Short answer: No.
At this point the game is in a state where I feel I don’t need to make any more changes to the base game. The game is sufficiently balanced, there are no really game breaking bugs as far as I’m aware, and the mechanics and bonus features in-game feel well fleshed out to me.
By adding any further features, I fear that the game will fall apart like when the game first launched. Things like adding power, more characters, and challenges just feels unnecessary at this point.
And for those wondering, yes this post was necessary. I’m still getting messages from people asking for another update to the game, so I made this post to address this. I want to focus on one project from now on instead of making several at a time. This felt like a mistake I made when making this game when in regards with Drawkill’d 2. If I kept going with just this one project instead of starting this, D2 would easily be out by now.
I feel like I need to be transparent about this, especially since Drawkill’d 2 is VERY close to finally be done. If things go right, it’ll finally be released within the next 2-3 months. I’ve lately felt like I’m in a state of mind were I don’t really know where to take the game right now, but I’m right now planning out how I’ll finish this game, so hopefully this wouldn’t happen again.
It’s been a while since I’ve made any post at all, in fact this is my first post of the year, so … there’s that. Thank you all for enjoying Ultra Custom Night, and here’s to a better, more productive year!
