Windmills has finally a Beta Release!

After many months of development and a lot of painful polishing and optimization, the latest beta is pretty close to what I aim for the players to experience in the final game. Give it a try!

After a year since conception, I am finally entering the final phase of development. It has been quite a journey with its ups and downs. The game is very close to what I aimed for and I really hope you will enjoy it!

Advanced enemies can feint their attacks to catch you off-guard!

The Alpha build of my metroidvania has just been released! I am both happy and nervous, I hope people grasp what it is about and accept its challenge. You can play it here https://gamejolt.com/games/windmills/636141

In the spirit of 80s sci-fi like Universal Soldier, Terminator and Robocop, I added a CRT screen filter and scanlines to simulate the "old scifi" experience. There's 4 maps and 1 boss now and a Tutorial.

@Miles_Games is a Jolter to Watch! They post great game dev updates about the holiday-themed platformer TEAM SLAY-BELLS! Follow them before the quest ends on December 24 and you'll get Coins!

The initial thought was to have the protagonist narrating past events, but making them unbelievable. The narrator will forget things or mix events, changing the user's experience.
