Here comes my entry. The game is playable to 100% but it lacks some minor features that I couldn’t finish in the timeline.
There was no time to create a better help screen with all the information in this pre-jam version. Also the game lacks a goal (marry a girl) and also music and sounds are missing, and planned eye candies. Sorry for that. I’ll add these features in the post-jam version in the next days and share the link to the update. The pre-jam version remains here until the jam is over to see the differences.
My mayor problem this time was, that I underestimated the complexity of the different soils. One single soil contains more than 10000 lines of code and I have 10 free soil spots available. This took the most time and the most memory of my system.
What comes next? I’ll finish all mentioned features during the next week, add new sounds and music and a highscore that gets the overall time that the player needs to finish the game. The highscore version will be uploaded to newgrounds and I’ll then also add some medals.
My final words are, that I underestimated the project and even it looks simple the coding behind the game is very cross-linked. I also hope that there are no bugs left, cause the bug-fixing was very time consuming.
