Delighted to announce that the INSECTILE demo will be in Steam Animal Fest! I'm hoping this will be a great boost for my little indie game!🐌
So if you haven't already... now's the perfect time to piece bugs together 🐛 to form some attacks! 💥
Okay, I do a color sketch for every INSECTILE before I commit to its design. I normally don't share them but LOOK AT HOW THE EARTHWORM TURNED OUT! DONUT!
Over half of all INSECTILE wish lists were added in the last month. I could not be more grateful!
If you're an indie dev or any kind of creative - do not be discouraged!
headshot for my friend that bought me lethal company !!
I am SO excited for some of these new maps I'm making - It finally feels like I'm taking full advantage of that z axis!
I can't wait to see how this changes bug catching 🐝
I completed this fanart for a friend's RPGMaker game, Dreams of Joy Departed. I took inspiration from early 2000s music albums to make this one and tried to keep it as maximalist and edgy as possible.
#PitchYaGame INSECTILE is a creature collector RPG where you piece bugs together to form your attacks! 🧩Collect puzzling little bugs 🎵Synergize their unique effects 🍄Explore a giant garden full of secrets 🐌Try the demo today!🐌
I was worried the "blockers" in INSECTILE would annoy players - but many cited them as the best parts of the demo!
So, I'm working on new blocker types today : ) Bees leave honey splotches and water skimmers have armor that pops like bubble wrap!
Redesign time! Updated katta design! Added quota too bc they're step-siblings. Kattas design was a massive struggle, mostly because I just drew her torso and head and nothing else really so shoes and stuff was a struggle
I know scorpions aren't *quite* insects, but I am willing to make an exception for a super interesting shape. You also need a good mischievous-looking guy in a creature collector sometimes.
What other kinds of bugs should I add?
