You Lose Chess 1.1.2 released

Wow, last week was a blast! Thank you for all the great ratings and the game follows. I really enjoy it.

I have just uploaded an updated version of You Lose Chess:

  • A nasty bug made it possible to take turns for black, which lead to confusion (even more than intended) and worse, game crashes. Apparently the black king has found a way to trick even me. Now it’s fixed.

  • Some players weren’t reading the hint at the beginning of level 1 and were clueless about how to win. Hints and instructions are now more obvious.

  • The black king has learned some new punch lines. They seem to be even meaner than before.

Q & A
I have already played through the game. Are the changes considerable enough to justify a replay?
Probably not. But thanks for playing!

I haven’t beaten the black king even once and don’t have a clue on how to do it. Should I try again with the new version?
Definitely! There’s more to this game than you think and now you should be able to find out about it.

Are you an e4 or d4 player?
I mostly start with ->d8.

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

"Thanks guys for endless hours of fun." 👍

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Just a Pico sprite

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!
