In terms of cancelled sequels, I've got a twofer:
1. Vexx 2, the cancelled sequel to the 2003 Acclaim platformer Vexx.
2. Munch's Exoddus, the cancelled follow-up to 2001's Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee.

My favorite sidekick is probably the little one-legged dude named Munch from the Oddworld series. Always thought he was neat as a kid and hopefully the series reboot doesn't just decanonize him.
i never said this before but i will be making a oddworld comic also the garten of banban comic will also be returning so don't worry!
