For maps based on real-world locations, the player will be able to select them from a world map.
The player goes through x1, x6, and x36 zoom levels to select the map.

World map selection is in.
Terrain generation workflow has also improved a lot. Can make maps out of any corner of the globe now.
We've got the tech tree implemented in-game now.
This one reads off a spreadsheet, so is controllable and flexible.
The old one is an image, and was a hassle to update.
Sidebar redesigned and simplified. Complex tabs moved to a new larger ledger menu.
Work on the sidebar will likely conclude soon and we'll be refocusing on other menus.
