Questions in Game Dev

Post GameDev things!

im really new to making games, in fact i never made one, i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips, like a book or a video/series about making games. i would really like to make something horror related, maybe like mr. wiskers or even fnaf. thanks

hey. Im kind of new to being a game dev and coding in general. I kind of want to ask an experienced bunch of people for tips. I mostly need help with choosing a game engine. Preferably a free one. So if any one would like to help please comment some.

Should I make a playable teaser for my game? Only for testing purpose, to test bugs and stuff

So... I recently added more impact, and some new music to the game, what should i add next?

OH GOD I SWITCHED ENGINES

I'm using Godot Engine now and I dread the whole process, But I will become a better dev in the process. On a scale of 1-5, how in over my head am I about using Godot and learning GDScript, after barely getting a grip on Python?

Help us decide on the design of the Steam Library cover.
Here's the link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1329320/Seven_Doors/

We're setting up the final Steam game image, and we can't decide which cover we like best!

We hesitate between these two, which one do you think is better?

Soooooooo... It's look's like most people want me to do some new music(https://gamejolt.com/@NewSports/post/working-with-new-multi-obje…, particles and camera i will do anyway) for my game "GwB". I will make some 8-bit kinda music, but i don't now what mood to chose:
