Update on the that knight fight in Dragon Blazers... I'm VERY close

So like I need your help guys

so I'm doing a no armor run of dragon blazers as you know but then this boss that's really hard showed up (the knight) and I dont wanna play for 1000 hours. Can I use the shadow mantle to make things slightly easier?

So I been playin that dragon Blazers game and I swear I can't figure out how to equip anything. Did I care? No, I just played the game anyway, even beat that super boss thingy or whatever.
